Probably my go-to recommendation if you like period dramas. Like Sanditon, Bridgerton is one of those guilty pleasure romance shows that you just can’t stop watching.

This is another one based on Jane Austen’s work, so it’s a natural fit for fans of Sanditon. Released in 2022, Persuasion is a made-for-Netflix film starring Dakota Johnson (known for her starring role in Fifty Shades of Grey).

Another great period drama, Miss Scarlett and the Duke doesn’t feature high society women in traditional roles. Instead, it’s about a woman who, after her father dies, takes over his detective agency. Learn more

The Empress is based on the life of Elizabeth of Austria, who would later go on to become the Empress of that country. Learn more
