Shonda Rhimes is throwing a lot of weight behind the new Bridgerton prequel- the Queen Charlotte spinoff.

Netflix has yet to release an official title, but the name “Jewels” has been used in internal documents referring to the show.

This project seems to be dear to Shonda’s heart as she seems to be extremely involved. Shonda Rhimes is one of the writers on the new show and will be executive producing alongside Betsey Beers and Tom Verica.

At Netflix’s TUDUM, Shonda herself will be revealing pictures and an early clip from the show.

The 6 episode series is a spinoff of the wildly popular Bridgerton Series and will feature fan-favorite Queen Charlotte.
