You can pretty much add any reality show to this list safely, too, but we narrowed it down to 12 of the most popular or controversial suggestions we saw.

Of course everyone likes to hate on reality TV as a whole but this take is actually more nuanced.

I don’t think disliking Dr. Phil as both a person and a show is super controversial, but it is pretty popular in the mainstream too.

It’s a teen show, yes, but teen shows can be good too! Unfortunately, at least for some people, Riverdale isn’t good.

This is another teen series where its popularity is confusing for some but for different reasons. The story is problematic, plus it kept going after the main plot ended.
