For fans of Season 1 of Bridgerton, featuring Daphne Bridgerton and Simon, Duke of Hastings, Season 2 was lacking in one major way: the lack of sex scenes.
While Season 1 broke barriers by showing many steamy scenes between it’s two main characters, Season 2 decided to become rather chaste, and Viscount Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma spent 7 episodes sharing longing looks and almost touches and leaving fans slightly… disappointed.
With Season 3 filming under way, fans are eager to know whether Season 3 will follow in the footsteps of Daphne and Simon or leave us wanting like Anthony and Kate.
It seems like we might get the former!
Dearest Reader, Lady Whistledown herself, Nicola Coughlan, spoke to ExtraTV and said that Season 3 will be more like Season 1. After all, Colin and Penelope are friends and “have already had two seasons of build-up.”
