Another cast member of Bridgerton is leaving the show!
Charithra Chandran has confirmed to Indian Express that she will NOT be returning to Bridgerton season 3.
Charithra played Edwina Sharma in Bridgerton season 2.
Edwina is Kate Sharma’s younger sister and was the Diamond of the Season.
The season focused on the entanglements between her sister Kate and her fiancee, Anthony Bridgerton.
Playing Edwina was one of Charithra’s first acting jobs.
Charithra further confirmed that she will be joining the cast of another movie, although she couldn’t give any details.
Charithra is not the only cast member not to be returning for Season 3. Ruby Stokes, who plays Francesca Bridgerton, has been recast by Hannah Dodd, and Rege-Jean Page did not return after his season 1 break-out role as Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings.
Hopefully, we will see Charithra in many more swoon-worthy shows and movies in the future!
