Pride and Prejudice, one of the most iconic novels of all time, is coming to Netflix as an all-new 6-part limited series.
That’s right, Pride and Prejudice and Period Dramas fans! We are getting a new adaptation and I, for one, am very excited.
As a period drama fan, I firmly believe that any period drama series or movie is a GOOD THING. We need more of them, and I am happy when big studios and streamers spend time and money to give us more.
We don’t know much about the new Pride and Prejudice yet, but here is what we do know:
What? Pride and Prejudice is going to be a 6-part limited series.
Where? Netflix – home of Bridgerton, so we will see what direction this goes.
When? No clue, but we do know that production has started, thanks to the photo below.
How? The series will be a faithful, classic adaptation of the novel, written by Dolly Alderton (Everything I Know About Love) and directed by Euros Lyn (Heartstopper).
Who? The cast list is full of stars and newcomers!
