The first encounter of a romance that sparked Bridgerton society as we know it is soon to be told in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story released a first-look trailer that promises romance, sparks, and witty banter. The scene is familiar- a gorgeous garden with stunning people wearing beautiful clothes. The banter is witty, and Queen Charlotte and King George play off each other well.
The first look shows the first meeting of Charlotte and George- which takes place as Charlotte attempts to climb over the garden wall to escape her arranged marriage. George finds her, and when she does not recognize him, she asks him for help to escape. He obviously refuses.
The first look promises to build on the template that made Bridgerton so successful. Queen Charlotte is definitely looking to be a swoon-worthy show, indeed!
