Looking for something to watch this Sunday? Here are some of the shows we are loving right now!
The first part of the last season of The Crown has just dropped and while there are a lot of criticisms to be had about this final installment, it’s hard not to watch. The costumes are still gorgeous, and the drama is still riveting (although slightly macabre- after all not only do we know the end of the show but we have a memoir of someone who was quite directly involved in it). Despite these caveats, The Crown is absolutely still a must-watch.
Six Feet Under
This old show was released to streaming at a time when new shows are quite glaringly absent and we are thrilled that it was! This dark show it absolutely hilarious and seems surprisingly in tune with modern-day views and values despite its age.
Although season 3 seems like it will never be released, the first two seasons and the Queen Charlotte prequel are still sitting there waiting to be watched, as luscious and as romantic as ever. Who knows? Maybe after you watch all three we will finally get a Season 3 release date.
If you are looking for a slow, heart-warming drama that will feel like a cozy hug then this is the show for you. A nurse practitioner escapes to a rural town to help an aging doctor with his medical practice.
The lives of three best friends in the Southern town of Serenity take center stage as they navigate love, career, and family. A true romantic drama that will have you laughing and crying with the sweet girl group.
Ginny & Georgia
A mother-daughter duo with a past full of secrets settles in a picturesque town, but like most coming-of-age shows, life doesn’t become easier just by moving. Small towns also don’t keep the skeletons of the past from being unburied.
The Lincoln Lawyer
A brilliant defense attorney finds himself on a new journey after an unfortunate accident. From defending Beverly Hills’ worst to uncovering the secrets related to a Playboy murder case, this lawyer might have bit off more than he could chew.
The Night Agent
A young FBI agent is tasked with uncovering a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top, the White House. With just one phone call his comfy desk job turns into evading death and unveiling a mole.
A lighthearted show about a makeup client and his new employer, beauty mogul Madolyn Addison who runs Glamorous. While his confidence and relationships flourish, we also see a change in Madolyn who learns more from him than she ever thought.
A coming-of-age series about a socially awkward teen Otis who sets up an underground sex therapy clinic at his high school. Thanks to his mother who works as a sex therapist, Otis learns a lot through spreading his knowledge with his peers.
