A lot of people agreed with this one (over 4 thousand!). But while wildlife documentaries provide comfort to these folks (especially ones narrated by David Attenborough), others find them anything but relaxing.

Some said they get upset when animals die, others had a bit more extreme views. “Wildlife documentaries for me have gone from being one of the most uplifting things to watch, to filling me full of existential dread.” That’s not good!

Not everyone who suggested this one (and there were a lot!) as their go-to comfort show had a reason, but one person said it was a show they watched together with their dad. It’s amazing how a TV show can be tied to connection and childhood memories, but it totally happens – and it’s great when it does.
