Because there’s nothing more annoying than a list of series where you have to buy 10 different streaming services to catch them all!

Beef

If you haven’t caught Beef it’s one of the best new shows streaming on Netflix right now. It’s about two people who end up in a car accident – and the fallout after that event. It’s a black comedy so get ready for some chaos as things spiral out of control for these folks.

Sadly this one has been cancelled despite many people arguing that it’s one of the best series on Netflix. That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the 2 seasons that they have made, though!

Breaking Bad

Thankfully you can stream this entire series on Netflix so if you haven’t watched Breaking Bad now’s your chance to. Trust me when I say this is one show that truly lives up to the hype it gets.

The Queen’s Gambit

A Netflix original, what makes The Queen’s Gambit so good is that it’s a miniseries. Beth, the main character, is a chess prodigy – and it follows her rise to becoming a Grandmaster.

Just be aware before you go into this hit show that every episode is a different storyline. With that out of the way, Black Mirror is great if you like shows that leave you feeling unsettled and thinking about the episode long after it’s over.

Narcos

Great for fans of shows like Breaking Bad, Narcos was a pretty popular show retelling some parts of Pablo Escobar’s life. It also stars Pablo Pascal so if you like that actor definitely check out this series on Netflix.

Dark

Everyone who’s seen Dark says that it’s really good but also super intense. It’s a German language Netflix original sci-fi series about searching for two kids who go missing in a small town.

Black Summer

A great zombie show for people who want to get that kind of story without having to commit to multi-season shows like The Walking Dead. It’s a spinoff of the horror series Z Nation but you don’t need to have seen the original to enjoy Black Summer.

Ozark

Another great action/drama series, Ozark is about a financial planner who has to suddenly relocate his family after a money laundering scheme goes wrong and he owes a lot of money to a Mexican drug lord.

One of the few Netflix originals that ran just as long as the writers had planned, you can stream all 4 seasons of Ozark right now for a great binge-watching session.

If you overlooked Alice in Borderland because of the odd name or the fact that it’s a J-drama definitely reconsider – it’s amazing. Fans of Squid Game will especially appreciate this somewhat similar plot: a bunch of people find themselves in a life-or-death games in the streets of Tokyo.

One Piece (Live Action)

This one just came out so it’s a great time to see what all the fuss is about. One Piece is the live action adaptation of the popular anime series. Fans say they nailed the show with the live action, while even non-anime fans appreciate the cool fight choreography.
